Before the kiddos I was an avid knitter.  I did a few craft shows and I used to knit all the time for myself and for my family.  My knitting needles have gotten a little dusty lately (three under four will do that to you I think!) but I have found the ultimate in inspiration....Stitch 'N Bitch Superstar Knitting!

I have been a fan of the Stitch 'N Bitch series for years but this one takes the cake!  This book is filled with step by step instructions to help take you to the next level with your knitting.  There are sections on cables, lace knitting, beading and embroidery, intarsia, stripes and more.  While this more complicating knitting can seem daunting, Debbie Stoller presents it in an easy to understand and straight forward method.

On top of teaching you some incredible new techniques, Superstar Knitting includes 41 amazing patterns.  You will seriously be blown away at the creativity.  There are socks and bags and sweaters and hats and even a sweater to knit for your dog!  I want to make everything in the book!  I think I will dust off those needles and try the Love Me or Leaf Me Bag....an amazing textured bag with handles!
