Blisscuits Review & Giveaway...

We are at that super tempting time of year where we are surrounded by unhealthy eating options (AKA the elastic waistband season!!).  I have found, at least for me, that by having a healthful snack before an event can help me move away from the pies.  And cakes.  And mashed potatoes (sometimes!).  I have a new snack that just might make it easier to eat healthy because of the yumminess factor...Blisscuits.

Blisscuits, which were created by actress Mariel Hemingway are  a new all-natural nutritious alternative to a snack cookie.  Available in four flavors: Classic Cinnamon, Chocolate, Orange and Lemon, Blisscuits are designed to give balanced health and energy while satisfying hunger and sweet cravings. 

The nutrients in Blisscuits come from whole natural and organic foods which provide balanced health and energy.  All four flavors contain cage-free egg whites, omega-3 fatty acids and more than 40% organic ingredients with no refined sugar or hydrogenated oils, making them a good option for children with food sensitivities. 

To be honest, when I read about all the healthy aspects of Blisscuits I braced myself for something bland.  Isn't that terrible?  I AM a junk food junkie though!  In any case, when I opened up my Orange Blisscuit I was sold.  It was delicious!  There were hints of coconut and a hearty amount of sweetness.  It was really wonderful and I was giving myself a healthy snack!   I also tried the Classic Cinnamon version and was equally impressed.   These little cookies are a perfect snack to carry around in your car or purse to help keep you out of food trouble.  

Now, you MUST be careful though because these are made from almond meal so if you have a child with nut allergies these are a NO NO (I ate mine away from home so not to expose W).

My take on Blisscuits?  Yum!  Grab a bunch to have on hand to help you get through the holiday feasting season and beyond.
