My children love to build things. Blocks are a real favorite over here and I would have to say, building toys are a real stand out favorite around here. Wow...this set is a blast!!! I am going to say though, that it is quite challenging to put together. My sons are 5 (less than the recommended age of 6) so this might have had something to do with this but I would guess that most kids under 9 or so would need a bit of help. This is a plus though parents because it is fun and something you can do together. Once the track is together it is so, so much fun to play with. You can just keep the track going to you can race your cars. I am already planning on buying additional pieces so we can expand upon the set. Steve Carrell (who I loved in The Office) is just perfect in this role. He is an "every guy" that you find your self rooting for. The whole cast is actually great and all the side stories are just as engrossing as the main one. What has me loving this movie is the love stories. This movie shows raw emotion and the power of love...it had me laughing and crying and I really just can't recommend it enough! Pick up a copy today on Amazon...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2...Giveaway!

I think this is a great read. Ellen Lubin-Sherman gives practical advice about how to shine and how to get back to the basics when it comes to manners. I really like that the episodes are short so you can really monitor screen time without having to stop in the middle of a movie. One episode is just the perfect amount to unload and reload the dishwasher! My children (me too!!) enjoyed all of the episodes but A&W particularly enjoyed the spooky one (Spook House Mouse).
