Ameribags USED to be made in Kingston NY - I asked them why they no longer are made in Kingston and they told me they couldn't hire people to do the work, even with offering to train them! I have a 'few' of them. My favorite bag is my small black leather Ameribag. I was heartbroken when the zipper broke. I brought it to their Kingston store, and not only did they tell me that they would replace the zipper for free, they would also condition the leather! It look brand-new when I got it back.
I went to a wedding in Hyde Park(across the Hudson River from Kingston) and a lot of women had Ameribags!
