Manage Your Problems, Big and Small, Every Day
Inspiring Chicken Soup for the Soul stories and accessible leading-edge medical information from Dr. Jeff Brown of Harvard Medical School. We all have stress in our lives. What differentiates us is how we handle it. The combination of these stories, from people who have learned how to manage stress, and Dr. Brown's practical advice, will have you wondering what you were worried about! Who knew there were so many easy ways to manage your stress?
I have long been a fan of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. The short and inspiring stories are always a good pick me up or way help find perspective in challenging times. This book is a little different. There are still inspiring and motivating stories but there is also practical advise from a doctor to help you manage stress...wherever it is coming from. It is a sad fact of life, but so many of us live under a great deal of stress from home or work or a combination of both and we don't have the tools to handle our stress in a positive way. Say Goodbye To Stress helps you to get a handle on what is stressing you and provides you with tools you can really use to help ease your mind. This one sits on my bedside table so I can pick it up for a refresher when my mind starts to spin with stressful thoughts. This is a wonderful book that I can happily recommend. Stop listening to the irrational things I say to myself. Oh, and forgiveness...to yourself and others.

I take a pen or very sharp pencil and make "angry art". I just make lines on the paper and sometimes poke through the paper and depending on the colors I use, it turns out to be really beautiful.
I go for a walk just to get out of the house and in the fresh air. I also like to read, draw, or garden.
